A fine style tetradrachm from Rhodes

ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Circa 229-205 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 13.16 g, 12 h), Tharsytas, magistrate. Radiate head of Helios facing slightly to right. Rev. ΘAPΣYTAΣ / P-O Rose, with bud to right; in field to left, eagle standing right on torch; all within round incuse. Ashton 215. SNG Keckman 550. An attractive piece with a fine style head of Helios. Cleaning marks and the reverse struck somewhat off-center, otherwise, good very fine.
